Who am I you ask?
I am a soon-to-be graduate of James Madison University, earning a degree in Musical Theatre. Although I’ve lived in four different states, I spent the later part of my childhood in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, where frequent trips into New York City to see theatre sparked my love of performing—and my ability to drive in traffic.
Dance has been the backbone of my training since I was very young. I studied ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, and acrobatics, eventually shifting away from competition to focus on storytelling and performance. My background in modern dance especially shapes the way I move through the world of a play or musical—I tend to approach characters physically first, building performances that feel expansive, grounded, and alive.
My approach to acting is grounded in clear objectives, playable tactics, and specific actions. I believe those tools allow an actor to approach any role with clarity and honesty, whether the story lives in comedy, drama, or somewhere in between. I’m particularly drawn to stories that wrestle with something complex or difficult and use performance as a way to explore it.
Although dance was my first love (partially because my mom was a singer, which meant I naturally wanted to be a dancer), I grew up surrounded by music and eventually found my way to singing and musical theatre. Bringing acting, voice, and movement together remains one of the things I love most about performing.
In rehearsal, I’m often told that I always have a point of view—and that I’m usually making people laugh. I value honesty in performance above all else and aim to create work that feels truthful, collaborative, and specific.
Outside of the theatre, I’m a bit of an adventure enthusiast. I’m a certified scuba diver with hundreds of dives and have spent time bungee jumping, jet boating, skiing, and horseback riding. I also love to travel and experience new cultures. With French citizenship and family in France, I hope to spend time working there someday as part of another great adventure.
When I’m not performing or chasing adrenaline, you can probably find me cooking—thanks to my French family, food has always been an important part of my life.
